How many AP classes is considered a "full" year of college?

Typically, you can expect 3-4 college credits for every AP score that the college counts (usually a 4 or a 5 will get you some sort of credit). A full time student is defined as 12 credit hours per semester, but most students take closer to 15 or 16 a semester, equaling around 30 credits per year. To get 30 credits from AP tests, you'd need to take and pass at LEAST 7 or 8 tests depending on the subjects that you're taking and the school's policy regarding those particular subjects.
